I’m California-born, Southern-raised, and currently calling Amsterdam home. I adult full-time in communications, podcast part-time, and occasionally moonlight as an actor. I’ve always loved film, television, romance, and stories that put people and perspectives we don’t often see at the center. Heated Rivalry brought so much of that together for me, and as luck would have it, Tyra felt the same way. So Top Five was born! As a Black woman in fandom, I love that we’ve created a space to fangirl unapologetically while making room for marginalized voices and perspectives that are too often overlooked. When I’m not behind the mic, I’m probably traveling (and collecting local perfumes and candles along the way), going to concerts, discovering new music, book clubbing, reading my 87th variation of Shane and Ilya falling in love, or attempting to relearn the piano.

I’m a corporate girly, fandom veteran, and lifelong lover of film, television, and the creative art of storytelling. Heated Rivalry caught me completely off guard, and I fell hard for Shane and Ilya’s love story and the beautifully layered writing that brought it to life. Six episodes later, a podcast was born. Producing this show with Nicole has become one of my favorite creative outlets, especially getting to platform POC and queer voices in the fandom. When I’m not behind the mic, you’ll find me traveling, reading, or eating my way through every new restaurant.
